bioNcap is a young rapidly growing high-tech company, using propriety and patented encapsulation technology to manufacture micro and nano encapsulated bioactive substances for the food, feed and pharmaceutical industry. Its dedicated production facility is located in Martigny, Switzerland

Change is our only constant

Life science is developing with enormous speed and although highly focused on process issues, the key to bioNcap’s success it is the understanding of the interactivity of the different phenomena of physics, kinetics, organic chemistry and biochemistry.

Many of the bioactive encapsulates we manufacture, have properties which would make them unfit for prophylactic or therapeutical purposes, if not protected by encapsulation. Since the majority of such bioactive substances is - by definition - reactive, it is most of the times imperative to avoid undue reactions in the manufacturing and storage.

For products where the natural dosage form is liquid – such as essential oils - blending with other powdered feed constituents in therapeutically efficient dosage would result in not stoichiometric formulations.

Encapsulation has the great benefit of not altering the molecule structure while still shunning reaction. Bio-availability can be enhanced by either using selected shell material, or the droplets can be reduced to sub-micro size for improved absorption.
