Li-Pro-Tect

The matrix of our range of Li-Pro-Tect encapsulates consists in the first step of a selected blend of fatty acids. The molten fatty acids re-crystallize under specific ultra-sonic frequency around the oil droplet and the shaped spheres are cooled down rapidly.

Li-Pro-Tect TM is the process of choice for stable oils, requiring little taste masking; such as eucalyptus oil. Loading rates can be up to 70 %.

For our Li-Pro-Tect Plus range we include a barrier system of purified proteins in the molten fatty acid mix. As a result we achieve a better protection and some taste masking, with a loading rate of up to 60 %.

For the top of the range powdered oils Li-Pro-tect Premium  the micro-spheres have been individually micro encapsulated with a protective barrier of purified proteins, in order to provide optimal protection and taste masking.

Li-Pro-tect Premium  is particularly suitable for fish oils, enabling inclusion of up to 50 %.
